The project DevalSimWeb addresses, from new assessment practices connected with required skills by employers, two problems identified in Latin American universities: the student dropout rate in the first years and reduced insertion rates into the labor market.

This project offers an alternative approach to evaluation in university learning, based on the use and incorporation of innovative technologies (web service evaluation, simulations or augmented reality), that encourage the skills development in students and increases their academic success, their employability and labor integration in a context characterized by the use of technologies and communication through social networks and knowledge.
