On May 6, 7, 10 and 11, 2012, the Transnational Management Committee Meeting DevalSimWeb Project (project financed by the European Union under the ALFA III program) was held at the University of Cádiz.

The  following participants attended the working session: Dr. Maria Soledad Ibarra Saiz (DevalSimWeb Project Manager - University of Cádiz), Dr. Gregory Rodíguez Gomez (Representative of the University of Cadiz - Spain), Dr. Ray Land (Representative of the Durham University - United Kingdom), Dr. Marta Lorena Salinas Zalazar (Representative of the University of Antioquia - Colombia), Dr. Leda Badilla Chavarria ( Representative of the University of Costa Rica), Dr. María Josefa Gómez Rubio (Representative the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador) and Dr. Teresa Rivero Grills (Representative of Salesian University of Bolivia).

On the several days the meeting, held in the Library of Puerto Real Campus, the project was presented and contextualized, we analyzed the degree of development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), we proceeded to approve the procedure for the monitoring and internal evaluation of the project, the visibility and image of the project was reported, and finally,  agreement was reached on upcoming activities and responsibilities under DevalSimWeb Project.

The First Meeting of the DevalSimWeb Project Transnational Management Committee has been an important advance in the organization of responsibilities and planning of research in the framework of the project. It also has become a fundamental tool for the systematic monitoring and structuring of the various tasks that make up this innovative research.
